Dr Mark Seneschall
Cathy Ryan
Cathy has deep and extensive expertise in leadership at the most senior level in an organisation handling both strategic transformation and operational portfolios. She is a results-orientated, commercially-minded professional, and a strong team player who motivates those who work with her through her high energy, practical and pragmatic approach, and her focus on achieving tangible and measurable outcomes.
Throughout her career Cathy has undertaken extensive global leadership roles spanning Europe, US and Asia. Her primary areas of expertise include strategy definition and execution, large scale IT programme management, IT organisational transformation and major outsourcing and offshoring transition and operations.
Cathy has over 25 years IT and business experience, learning from the ground up and progressing to senior IT executive positions at Marks & Spencer and BP. Cathy is a qualified Prince2 and ITIL practitioner.
Graham Ford
Mark has over 25 years business and commercial experience, mostly with BP. He has spent over half of his career as the business leader of a number of major change and transformation initiatives, and has a proven track record of delivery in a variety of business environments and situations.
Mark was Global Head of Transformation for worldwide energy trading, co- ordinating and overseeing the successful implementation of a billion pound initiative to re-engineer systems and processes across the business.He was also Global Programme Director of an SAP-enabled business change programme for oil refining and marketing, orchestrating the recovery of the programme and its redesign, and culminating in its successful initial roll-out.
As Chief Financial Officer for European Oil Trading, he also led a continuous improvement programme to enhance and streamline the end to end business processes.
Mark is a qualified accountant (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and has a Ph.D from Cambridge University.
Graham is an experienced Board-level Chief Financial Officer with 30 years experience and a strong commercial bias in the Oil & Gas Industry with a proven track record of delivery in UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. He has proven experience at corporate Group Executive level with excellent finance, accounting and IT skills. Graham is passionate about delivering professional excellence which both protects the reputation of the enterprise and supports its strategic objectives.
As CFO for BP Global Oil Trading business, the largest Oil Trading business in the industry, Graham led the transformation of the Trading Finance Function. This transformation delivered a Global SAP platform integrated with expert deal capture and Mid-Office/Risk systems, and reduced headcount from 1600 to 950 and reduced sustainable costs by approx $65m pa. I
In his Group Finance Executive capacity, Graham also played a key role in the transformation of BP's entire Finance Function which saw staffing levels reduced from some 6000 to 4500 with commensurate reduction in costs. Key to this transformation was a radical realignment of Finance with the Business Segments coupled with major changes in core underlying processes and systems and offshoring of shared services.
Graham is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants UK.
